To Clare Sebok re:vaccination records I too noticed that my vet's clrical people actually sign the rabies certificate. While this may not be strictly legal, I'm sure that if need be any vet that does this would tell the health dept or whatever that it was his signature (though prob'ly wounldn't testify to that in court) and most likely no-one would question it anyway unless they just happened to be familiar with the vet's signature. It may also be possible that the staff is legally able to sign, like a power of attorney or summat (can you tell I'm not a lawyer? <g>). I have also noticed that the certificates do not show Imrab, even tho', like you I know that that's what they got. Mine show the "vaccine producer" as RN Merieux, and I just figured that that was who made the Imrab vaccine, but maybe not? It also shows a "vaccine serial number" which I would assume is correct (but maybe I best ask, huh?). And since I'm posting anyway, I want to vote Yea on the wedding and similar posts! I love 'em! To Missouri Bob - Be sure to let us know when you're gonna be back in Clumbya for a spell, 'cause I'm not all that far away from ya (Camdenton). One other thing: I have seen a couple of posts mentioning the guideline for maximum message length being 125 lines. This sounds like a good number to me, but I've (twice) looked thru the "Usage Guidelines" message I got when I first joined the list, and there's nothing in there about it, so maybe it should be? I've just updated the usage guidelines to include it. Ask for file FML FAQ (as shown in the intro of every issue) if you'd like an updated copy. BIG] [Posted in FML issue 1611]
