It is with a very heavy heart and quite a few tears that I pass on the following news. On Friday night, I lost my baby One-Eyed George. As I write this it is hard to believe that it all isn't just an awful dream. His death was my fault, and I hope that a few words might spare others my sorrow. You see I accidently locked George in the dish washer and my poor baby drowned. I don't think that I can tell you how horrible it was to open the dish washer and find him. At least he died peaceful. It was almost like he had just fallen asleep. But that was not the case. I know that he is over the Rainbow Bridge and being the ferret he is he has stolen all of the bells and is terrorizing everyone in sight. But it would be better if he was here with me. George is survived his big brother Ian and myself. We both miss him very much and look forward to seeing him one day in the future. I hope you don't mind, but I decided to modify Garth Brook's "The Dance" to be George's song. I think that he would have loved that and is now dooking away in heaven. "The Dance" -- Garth Brooks Looking back On the memory of The Dance we shared Beneath the stars above And for a moment All the world was right How could I have known That you would ever say goodbye And I'm I'm glad I didn't know The way it all would end The way it all would go Our lives are better left to chance I could have missed the pain But I'd have had to miss George's dance Holding you I held everything And for a moment Wasn't I the King And if I'd only known How the King would fall Well who's to say You know I might have missed it all And I'm I'm glad I didn't know The way it all would end The way it all would go Our lives are better left to chace I could have missed the pain But I'd have had to miss George's dance Yes my life Is better left to chance I could have missed the pain But I'd have had to miss George's dance... Goodbye my little one...don't cause too much trouble...
