Sue, Have you returned to your veterinarian for a recheck? If a prescription does not work, the vet may have an alternative, or can suggest further tests to determine the problem. A skin scraping could be helpful, as ferrets can get scabies, and scabs on the feet are a sign of that infestation. It could also be a bacterial infection that is not responsive to that particular medication. Unfortunately, there are so many causes of skin problems that I can't help you with treatment without further info.
