Hi FML'ers perhaps I'm just being paranoid about this, but since we dealt with this issue once before last august, I'd rather nip it in the bud that let it progress. Last august Fezzik was stricken with a puzzling case of hind quarter paralysis. We had no clue what caused it and after about a month he was about back to normal. The vet thought that he had ruptured a disc in his back and had some neural damage to his spinal chord. Well, we suspect that it's happening again. He seems to be getting weaker in his rear extremities again. He eats a diet of Marshall's premium mixed w/ kitten chow (for crunchiness and dental maintenance). I would think that MF food would provide enough B vitamins to combat this paralysis problem, but if it is indeed happening again then we are mistake. I tried to check the ferret faq about the paralysis problem, but I couldn't find anything referring to it. Anyone that has valid info about this, please share it with us. It would be a shame for Fezzik to have to stay indoors all spring because of another bout of paralysis while Bela gets her walks.
