Yep. It's me again. Just got back from getting Alanis from the hospital. Vet says it is NOT ECE. Chalks it up to being placed in a new home (Stress and all that.) Gave me amoxi to give her twice a day. She also says there was absolutely no bacteria and no parasites found in her stool. I don't know about you, but I'm stumped. Both my girls are playful and active. Big heartfelt thanks to those who sent me ECE information (Thanks Sprite and Gary.) I didn't sleep at all last night. My worst fear was that I would call to check on her and they'd tell me she didn't make it. Still wondering if it is ECE and that this is a remission. (I hope not.) But, the pet store did quarantine all their ferrets and call the person they had sold one to that night. All theirs have come through with flying colors. Will keep an eye on these two for a very long time. Best wishes to everyone out there with a sick baby. My heart truly goes out to you all.
