I subscribed to this about a week ago and I have gone through many changes since then, but one thing that stayed the same, was my sweet baby Betsy is always home waiting to give me love and joy. I have loved reading all your stories. I have a few questions and comments. First of all I have a brown sable ferret about 4 and a half months qld named Betsy and I love her to death! Right now she is curled up in a ball sleeping on my lap. My College roommate and I split the cost of her when we first got her but today my roomate (supossidly my best friend)moved out and I said the ferret is mine no discusion about it (she always was kind of my baby). Now I just have one roomate, Betsy and I'm as happy as can be :)! She is one thing that keeps me going here. I've been thinking that she likes being an only child but the more I read about peoples babies playing together and sleeping together I feel like I am depriving her of a furry companion. I am also a little conserned that she would feel unloved if I got another ferret. What do you think would be best? Also is it normal for ferrets to have nightmares? Betsy likes to fall asleep on my lap or in my arms while I'm petting her and lately I've noticed her jolting awake and being very disorientated sometimes she'll even start running then just stop looking confused. I feel bad and I comfort her back to sleep then she is fine for a while. Does this have to do with anything? Thanks for your cute stories and all your help. -Love, -Kim and Betsy p.s. - Congrats to all you ferret lovers in Mass. that is GREAT news!! @:^) [Posted in FML issue 1505]
