HELLO EVERY ONE. I am a vet here in this city of over 8 million(Osaka) Japan. Believe it or not, no other vet I know of here sees ferrets. So they all come to me for help. Ferrets have a short history(under five years) here but they are hitting the market at an alarming rate just recently. Most are from the States but we get some from NZ. among other places. You may assume that there is a lot of miss information out there, although some attempt is being made to educate the masses. My question to any one who cares to comment is what would you do if you lived in a country where there is no ferret approved vaccine that you can buy legally and no law that prohibits a vet from using non ferret approved vaccine. Would you let them go unvaccinated or would you you use what is available? You may now be wondering what I have been doing about this, right ? :-)) NILE ANIMAL HOSPITAL OSAKA JAPAN WERKU, T.
