Hi again--

I also have a ferret that was a major biter. I don't think she meant to be
mean, but blood is blood, right? Well, I tried everything I'd read on here
and nothing worked. I know she knew not to bite, just didn't care. One day
she nipped me on the nose (again) and I just put my lips around her
muzzle--not my teeth, just lips. I held her that way for a couple of
seconds and then let go and said "NO!" You've never seen such a surprised
look on a ferret's face! I did that about 3 times that night, a couple of
times over the next week, and now don't have to do it anymore at all. She
never bites me any more. She will, however, chomp my SO with no compunction
whatsoever. I told him what to do, but....guess it's his problem!

You might try this--it worked for me and doesn't seem to be tramatic for
anyone. And my nose and chin appreciate it!
