Our puppy thinks ferret poop is candy. Yuck! We've found a product that
works keeping him from eating his own, but I'm not about to give any to
the ferrets until I know it is safe. Here's the info:

STOP - A natural chewable digestive supplement in stopping foul smelling
odors and stool eating in dogs.

Ingredients: Dicalcium Phosphate, Glutamic Acid, Yucca Snidicera,
Liver, Corn Syrup, Dipotassium Phosphate, Chlorophyll, Oil of Peppermint

Casey, the puppy, thinks the pills are rather yummy, so if safe I would
like to grind them up and put it on the ferrets' food. How important would
the dosage be? Would this be safe with free-fed ferrets, since I can't
control the dosage completely? (Dog dosage is two pills on the first day
then one a day thereafter)

Thanks!

- Nancy

[Moderator's note: Another product is "Forbid!" Fairly harmless, I
understand - Forbid is a product that helps digest proteins since the
protein-less product is less appealing to the dog. I'd check with your
vet first though, of course. BIG]
