Re: Does Ferret Excrement Keep Squirrles away ? I've used it to keep mice out of my flower gardens. Mice were having a field day eating some of the plants. The poop seemed to keep them away. An officemate I had once used to make "voodoo sticks" (as she called them) for her vegetable garden. She used to take fur from her cats and skins from her snakes to discourage rabbits and other nibbley creatures. She said they worked great. For mice and rabbits, I'm sure it would work. Squirrels....I don't know. They are as persistant as ferrets! ;) Re: Ferret Nicknames Generic: carpet shark, fuzz-head, fuzzie, fuzz-bean, "the kids", the weasels, fuzz-kids, fur-kids, leaping ferrets!, flying ferrets, thieves, corner bombers, carpet crawlers, fur snakes, low-rider cats Squirt: the King, Squirty, Squirtman, the Squirter, Squirt Magellan, love boy, big boy, lovie man, the snuggler, the ferret of brain, Jean Dook Fercard Pippi: Pipper, Pip, Peep, Peeper, Pips, Peeps, little girl, Pippi Lou (sung to "Mary Lou"), Pippi Jane, little sneak, little thief, big thief, the acrobat, lovie girl, Pippi - Queen of the Thieves Atlas: big dumb lug, big boy, my big love, the ferret of brawn, "Which way did 'day go?
