Try all this with your suspected adrenal ferrets (and it couldn't hurt the others either if they want to share). 1) Make sure the ferret is housed in a room which gets natural sunlight through a window. 2) Crack the window at night to let cool air in (keept he room door shut if it will cause high heating bills) 3) Add Brewer's Yeast to their diet (just sprinkle powder on the food) in 1-2 months you should notice a change in fur texture and thickness. If not, then an adrenal is most certainly possible. Two months will not hurt if it is an adrenal, but will give you time to try this experiment.
