Well, it has been 4 months since Sobriety and Charity arrived from the shelter. Misty was not real thrilled with their arrival and spent the last few months nipping, squeeking, and dragging the new guys around. This has tried my patience and frazzled my nerves. With Sobriety so sick, I had to cage Misty and Charity together in order to do the weekly cleaning of their room (Misty HATES the vaccuum cleaner) Charity climbed into the hammock and Misty went under the hammock. Soon though, Misty decided she wanted to be in the hammock. Instead of ruthlessly kicking Charity out of the hammock as I expected her to do, she simply climbed in, shoved her over, and cuddled up next to her without so much as a squeek. I could not believe my eyes!!! I tried the caging them together this week too to see what would happen. They just curled up under the blankets and snuggled together. I think someone has stolen the real Misty and gave me a replacement! This is certainly an improvement. I attribute it in part to the fact that she has finally started to feel normal after being sick all summer from adrenal disease and the subsequent surgery. Now, if I could just get her to get along with Sobriety........ Perhaps when he recovers from his illness, Misty will give him a chance to be friends.. :-) Fuzzies To All, Julie and The Fuzz Factory--Misty, Charity, and Sobriety (recovering in the hospital) PS Sobriety and I send sympathies to all the families who's fuzzies have taken ill or passed on to Rainbow Bridge.
