To Lloyd: >Our ferret over the last number of months has an enlarged urinary area where >before it was not as noticeable. >Any thoughts? Lloyd - Check the ferret FAQ, especially the part about enlarged vulvas. Although you didn't mention whether your ferret was male or female, I am assuming that it is female. If it is intact, she is probably in heat and you'd better see a vet QUICK - intact females quickly DIE if not bred or spayed. Spayed females often show vulvar enlargement with adrenal disease. Check the ferret FAQ for more information - this is a very ommon complaint - and one that we hear very often. Bruce Williams,DVM AccuPath.ix.netcom.com [log in to unmask] Bruce H.
