I'm really aggravated about this whole CBS thing, they've exhibited not only ignorance but a callous disregard for professional ethics and the principle of journalistic objectivity (not that I should be surprised, it's the morning show). I'd like to thank Judi Lunn for the phone #'s, etc., I'll be making good use of them. I was wondering, though, if anyone has phone numbers for the *sponsors* of the show, particularly those whose spots ran during that segment. I don't hold them responsible in any way, but if we can put some pressure on them to pull their advertising, they can put far more pressure on CBS than we could alone. At the very least, we could let them know that we will be watching another network, and maybe watching other advertising, buying other products, etc. I don't mean to let up on CBS, that still has to be the first avenue, but if we can get even one advertiser to say something to them...I didn't see the segment, though, so I can't say who the sponsors are...anyone? --edman [log in to unmask] ed & kim, owned by Goose & Anastasia [Posted in FML issue 1212]
