Melissa, Potpie, and a dopey Friday here - Well, Dr. Daldin removed an adrenal gland from poor Friday on Weds night, and she's doing fine as of Fri. morning - I dont have specifics yet on how serious the adrenal problem was, but i WOULD like to note that the only symptom Friday showed was a swollen vulva, and i might have missed seeing that except for a shot of luck. Remember to keep a sharp eye on your fuzzies! Apparently, btw, Friday stole the hearts of everyone at the vet clinic... :) Speaking of stealing hearts (and showing off) i had a friend over yesterday to meet Potpie. While she made a huge spectacle of chewing on his leather jacket, she also showed off her remarkable acrobatic abilities by flinging herself from the top of a cage into the garbage can in my room - a good three feet wide and one foot up jump, and she executed it as well as any cat would have. Are all ferrets this acrobatically inclined? Potpie's always airborne, but Friday prefers to go up and down things squirrel-style, hugging the sides.. Potpie, 'awww, mom, you brought her BACK!' Friday, 'ow. *sneeze* ow. that hurts!' and Melissa, adrenal surgery for $150! woo! cheap! ++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++ Melissa Litwicki "It's big, sharp teeth and claws versus [log in to unmask] a mind of questionable wit." ++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++--++ [Posted in FML issue 1186]
