In response to Becki's question about youngest age to sell ferrets in MI:
From the text of the bill (GCFA - "Off the Paw" Mar/Apr '95) -
Sec. 3.(1)(h) A ferret is not sold or offered for sale before the
ferret is at least 10 weeks old.
Sec. 3.(4) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor.

I guess you'd report them to Animal Control.

BTW, I'm rooting for the MA bill to pass. Any way that us out-of-
staters can help on short notice? (Faxing/mailing letters, etc?)

Happy ferreting,
Denise, plus Rocko and Randall
