Hello. I've discovered more "human" foods that my ferret loves. First, the baked potato. Every time I am eating one, Baby will start sniffing around while she waits for me to blow on a piece for her to eat(so that she doesn't burn her tongue). She will even eat it off a fork if I let her(yes, my ferrets use silverware-aren't they trained well). Usually in the morning I have a piece of toast with rasberry-cranberry jelly. Baby loves to lick the jelly but has no interest in the bread. Then, one morning I put the jelly on an english muffin and when I turned my head away for 1/10 of a second, Baby and the WHOLE english muffin were gone. Boy was she a happy ferret. The last food that Baby decided she liked is chicken. Not plain chicken, mind you, I was eating a Healthy Choice frozen dinner- Chicken Fajitas- that is seasoned and she decided that she wanted the chicken. She won't eat a regular plain chicken breast, but if it has mexican seasonings on it , SHE LOVES IT. Boy oh Boy, will they ever cease to amaze me? On the other hand, Bell won't eat any "human" foods unless they taste like banana, smell like banana or best of all, are bananas. Lisa [Posted in FML issue 1182]
