Bill,  I think the FML is great just the way it is.  Limiting people to x
number of lines might keep someone from posting a real "need info ASAP"
message because they used their "limit" the provious day.  Also we shouldn't
even THINK about limiting inputs from our vets.
 
If you're worried about too much storage on the mainframe, how about limiting
the archive to say 1 year or even 6 months of on-line storage?  If you have
the capability, store them off-line on tape or, shudder, floppies.  Then have
a once a month download of requests for issues stored off-line. Just a thought.
 
I think you're doing a fantastic job here.  Too bad it doesn't pay more. <G>
