Outside of their respective cages the four ferrets have begun to get along
nicely. The neck dragging and in general tramping on Pretzel have been reduced
to a level that resembles normal ferret play. (At least Pretz keeps coming
back for more!) The problem now is Pretzel's love of the other three's cage.
He loves to zoom up the ramp and waits at top for one of the other ferrets to
relize that he has invaded _THEIR_ turf and then zooms back down the ramp with
other ferret in high pursuit. Now I realize that each ferret will be
interested in the other's area and protective of their own, but I eventually
want them to share the larger cage. Any ideas on how to do this without
placing Pretzel in the "lion's den" without any means of escape? What do you
think about shared trauma? Our ferrets are about due for their spring-time
bath and as they all hate it, perhaps this will help them bond? I guess they
would all also smell pretty much the same- What do you all think?

Pickle <I think I will just lie here until mom picks me up for a cuddle.>
Kit Kat <This is OUR cage! NO! That's OUR bag. Here, play with this jingle
ball WE don't like it anyways.>
Twinkie <Gotta get him!>
Pretzel <runrunrun.stop.runrun.stop. I sure like this sandy stuff, it's awful
fun to dig in. Uh oh, here comes ANOTHER one! runrunrun>
