Excuse me, but you sure sound awful sanctimonius. These people are obviously interested in the welfare of a ferret that has been treated irresponsibly. And you suggest the gentleman give it back for a possible repeat performance? Risk the well being of an animal in order to teach a lesson? Who are you to decide who needs a lesson? Perhaps the people who used to own the ferret need a lesson in the proper treatment of ferrets-or the proper treatment of people who take ferrets and spend money on them and give them the attention and treatment they need. Or maybe you need a lesson in tolerance and forgiveness. Yes, there are always lessons to be learned from every experience, but let us not judge so hastily for whom the bell tolls.
