Here's a little tidbit that showed up in the March 23rd issue of the Boulder Daily Camara: Forty black-footed ferrets were released in north/central Montana. Also, some were released in South Dakota and Wyoming (which is on its fourth year of repopulation). They are tracking the ferrets with radio collars (and I'm sure the ferrets are loving that). They are trying to reintroduce the ferrets throughout their 'historic' natural range. Also, I saw the article and picture in People - very cute.
