I still haven't spoken with anyone from the SPCA in Washington County, MD to find out the actual method used to put the tiny ferret under. In fact, I think it may be unneccessary, but am open to requests to forge forward on that matter. Additionally, I spoke with someone in the Baltimore County Councilman's office to find out about how things might be handled if a similar situation occured in this county. She plans on getting me in touch with someone who will field my questions. In that, I plan to ask who is in charge of the Public Health officce of Balto. Co. and what his/her opinion is how this type of situation would be handled here. Also, I plan to ask how he/she might be able to assist in "reaching" those in charge in our neighboring counties to be more educated/open-minded in situations regarding ferrets. Lastly, I plan on asking how one could be removed from this "Head of Public Health" office. If you have any insight and/or additional questions you'd like for me to inquire, please write to me directly at: [log in to unmask] Regards, Alan Braunstein [Posted in FML issue 1119]
