I could not have said it better Denise! I spend almost every weekend at a shelter so I completely agree with your eloquent post! But may I add one thing: Neuter and Spay your pets! Leave breeding to the (responsible) professional breeders. (I know this is less of a problem back east where most kits sold are already altered, but that is not the case in the west.) If you are breeding ferrets, please have a neuter and spay contract in place. You and your ferrets will both be happier if your ferrets don't have procreation on their minds (and they won't smell as bad)!
