Even to the point of ridicularity when the owner abuses the animal. However, I personally believe that nose flicking is not abusive and it will (should) not become a regular habit for you once she learns not to nip/bite. I know I must have flicked my guys an uncountable number of times. I realize they rely on me to live, but the follow me everywhere. Achilles was named just that because of his constant presence under-foot. So, don't worry about flicking too much, your ferret will [hopefully] eventually get the point. Now, throwing her across the room may make her dislike you a bit! Just kidding, just kidding, I don't throw my ferrets [anymore]. Ha, just kidding!! Woe, don't get upset, folks, I'm just KIDDING!!!!! BTW, if she doesn't stop biting (as some folks will tell about their "terrors") and you haven't settled on a name, you could name her "Luciferrette".
