Oh what a dream it was. I had a dream that someone came to take away my fuzzy. Needless to say, when I woke up, I was very unhappy. I couldnt sleep for a while, and couldnt find my fuzzy either. After a while, I crawled back in bed, and what do I hear, little ferret whimpers. We let our ferret sleep with us, or rather, she lets us share the bed with her? As I felt under the covers, I find a tiny ball of critter having what must have been little ferret dreams. So I picked her up, gave her cuddles, and went back to sleep. Isnt it sad that some of us still fear losing our little ones? Having no children, my little ball of fun seems more like a child to me. Its hard to resist telling everyone about her little antics. Those of you (thank goodness its becoming more and more) that are in those wonderful legal states, appreciate your freedom, and make sure it stays that way. Hopefully this is the year for California too! To Carrine with the ferret that seems to be lonely or bored, if I remember correctly, you were sick and couldnt spend as much time with your new ball of fun. It could be that she's a bit upset by that and wants you to know it. I've found that our ferret can seem to pout when she doesnt get what she wants. You might try just sitting and talking with your ferret, maybe just hearing your voice again, and seeing that you are paying attention, will light that ferret fire again. Happy ferretting! The owned, and the owned (you cant tell who is who with ferrets and their owners, right?) [Posted in FML issue 1078]
