Ah, well, since I (obviously) need practice, here are a few ferret haikus I made up (wow, even the signature). Back, hop, skid, back, BOUNCE! Hey, what's this I backed into? Maybe it will play! Playful and loving, the ferrets hop about, then curl up on your lap. The most curious bundles of fur possible explore to no end. My bouncy girlfriend surprisingly weighs only one and a half pounds. What do ferrets see when we look down upon them? Hopefully, our love. Though slightly mouselike, don't mistake them as rodents; they are mustelids. Carnassial teeth reveal them as carnivores. Check the bones, also. Looking through a tube I spy another ferret. Now I wag my tail! Vets see bones and flesh, but I'm sure ferrets contain springs or jet engines. This sock is mine, now. If you need it, take a look in my treasure trove. Todd Cromwell, human Dors and Seldon, little friends (subjects for haiku). [Posted in FML issue 1072]
