Josef and Claire: I've never been able to figure out a way to spank a ferret, and nose bonking never worked for me either. I once knew a ferret named Venus that also loved to clamp down and then shake her head around. My girlfriend and I would say "no!" very loud and then pinch her ear. We only did this when she bit too hard, and eventually figured out that humans are thin-skinned. It's tough for me to punish a ferret, but unlike carpet digging, door scratching, and corner pooing, I don't know of an alternative when it comes to digit chomping. Austin Ferret Owners: I'm very curious about how many of us here in Austin are on the list, and I am dreaming of a Ferret Frolic in Austin. Please take a minute to send me your e-address and the name, sex, breed, and age of your fuzzies. Thanks in advance! Morgan ([log in to unmask]) Klinger (male sable^3yrs.) [Posted in FML issue 0992]
