Hi! I just joined the FML a few days ago and have really enjoyed the mail this far. I have a single (fixed) male ferret named Fergison who is of unknowen age. We are his second owners and the first owners don't remember how old he is, is there any way to tell? They also haven't given him any shots. What shots should he be given and when (he is full grown)? Do you have any tips on getting ferrets to eat a different food? The people who owned Fergie before fed him a low protein food and we're trying to get him to eat Science Diet cat food. We've tried mixing it into his other food, gradually increasing the amounts, but he would rather starve than eat Science Diet. Should I try anouther food (I've already tried ferret food - that didn't work either)? Help! Thanks to you and love to your "babies", Chanda and Fergison [Posted in FML issue 0885]
