One of the local (Pittsburgh, PA) shelters has two ferrets for immediate adoption to a good home. Janice Moore, (412) 863-5125 runs a small ferret shelter out of her house. She recently took in two male ferrets because the owners no longer had time to support them properly. These ferrets are both about 3 years of age, come from Path Valley breeder, are neutered and descented. Both have had all of their shots, paperwork is available. One of them is a sable, the other is a sable with white feet. Janice said that both ferrets appear to have been well taken care of: both are very calm, are good eaters, well litter trained and very friendly. Janice is asking $75 for the pair, including a large cage will all of the accoutrements. Since this is a mature pair, she would not object to selling to a first time owner. She would prefer not to sell to a family with children under 10, because she feels that the pets suffer!
