It's not been to good of a day in our household. Since the passing of our baby " Harley " our other 2 furries have been beside themselves. Augie and scooter, have been trying every trick in the book, to get themselves outside. Well, they succeeded ! We live in a mobile home, and they found out that under my nightstand in the corner of the bedroom, the floor was real weak. They pulled the edge of the carpet ( actually dug through the carpet) up, and found that if they scratched at the wall enough, they could squeeze through and get to the underside of the floor and get out. They must have been working at this for a while now, we usually let them have the run of the house when we are working. They never knew a stranger, they must have wandered next door to see what the 2 large black creatures were and to see if they were friendly and wanted to play. The 2 creatures were Rottweillers, and they didn't want to play. I found them just a little while ago. Those damn dogs really got them, I'm so angry at myself for not moving the furniture around every once in a while just to check and see if there is anything unusual. I know it's not the dogs fault, but I never did trust dogs. My wife stopped me from getting my rifle and extracting a little revenge. I know how you feel Effie!!! I have been following Lokies progress for a while now, and was praying that he'd pull through. Does anyone know of any clubs or adoption centers for furries in the ssouthwest part of Missouri, ie. Springfield, Branson, Joplin. Even though we don't have our babies anymore, I'm not un-subscribing from the list. I think that furries are the most wonderfull creatures put on this planet, they have given me and my wife many, many hours of love and enjoyment. We hope to hear from someone soon. We wish we could hug our ferrets. Love you all.
