Hi, This is the first time that I have posted so I thought that I would tell you a little about us first. My name is Cheryl and my carpet shark is called Lucretia (The Ferret from Hell). She was given this name because she was a biter when we first got her. Luckily, she grew out of it. She is a dark siamese and 1 year 3 months old. I was wondering if anyone out there in ferretland has taken their ferret on a commercial airplane? Has anyone shipped their ferret cargo? If so how did they survive the trip? How long were they effected? Did they get hurt durining the trip? The reason for this inquiry is that I will be flying home for the holidays and I would love to bring Lucretia with me! The holidays just wouldn't be the same without her. I have run into red tape in the past dealing with planes and ferrets so I was wondering if anyone has gotten through this red tape. Another question about something cute Lucretia does. Does anyone else's ferret love to bite the end of cardboard tubes(the kind you get from those big rolled of wrapping paper) and push it around? Lucretia love doing that! She grabs the end, starts running and clucking loudly. She will do this until she gets so tired she drops. She has a tendency to run into a wall or a piece of furnature but that doesn't stop her. She will just drop the end she had and bite the other end and away she goes! It's just so cute! Thanks For Your Help, Cheryl and Lucretia [Posted in FML issue 0594]
