The last few weeks has shown a REAL influx of ferret give-ups at the GCFA shelter. Right now we're overflowing. I'm taking a vacation so I can go in early and help get the little critters exercised and cages cleaned. Else, we'd be there until wayyyy past midnight. We're at about 40-41 ferrets now. I suppose a lot of it is moving and back to college... Personally I wouldn't move to a place where my eren't welcome. Obviously, the shelter has survived the latest phase of the problems we've been having due to our former shelter director. With the receipt of the latest issue of the club newsletter, members were finally allowed to see the other side of the accusations. ------------------------ Karl, How's Nitro doing with Sweety? I'm betting they'll eventually be great pals. Rog [Posted in FML issue 0573]
