In issue 387 Nancy Hartman will reply: >... I think for the most part we agree, just not on the same level of >severity. So please read this as a debate, not a flame war. Bill and I >are friends, and I respect his opinion very much, I in no way want to >invalidate them, even if I don't necessarily agree with them.) I think that is basically true too, thanks. My point in posting the results of studies is to show that things are certainly not as simple as they seem. I think it's important to make quality information available - I'm sure Nancy agrees too - the more you know about the critters, the better able YOU are to decide what's best for them. I will continue to post stuff based upon my experiences and references, I'm sure Nancy will do the same, and I hope many of you will too. THE goal here is exchange of information, even if it is sometimes conflicting, for the benefit of our ferret friends; certainly the goal is not to see who can flame the loudest. (And, no, Nancy, I don't feel I was being flamed... though I think next time I need to insert one or two smiley faces where I get carried away with sarcasm! Thank you for your disclaimer though, just in case I had any doubt). Bill [Posted in FML issue 0388]
