Greetings from a proud new Ferret owner. What adorable, lovable creatures!
And mischevious as all get out... I spent the last several days trying to
ferret-proof my house, and doing a pretty good job of it, too. Today I bring
Milo and Jellybean home (7 wk hob, 9 wk jill) and they quickly showed me the
error of my ways. It is amazing the places I see them come out of...
Including, unfortunately, their cage. A 1" x 1.5" grid, and they somehow
managed to squeeze their way out. Houdini couldn't have done it better.
Hopefully a 1" x 1" chicken wire reinforcement will be a little more
challenging.

My only concern so far is that Milo is spending ALOT of time sleeping. I know
that ferrets sleep about 14 hours a day, but right now he is sleeping way more
than Jellybean. Doesn't seem quite as active as her either. Could this be
because he is two weeks younger than Jellybean and so needs more rest? Could
it be a sign of something serious? Or am I just experiencing new-father
jitters? And advice would be appreciated...
