Hi all, This is my first post to this group and I'm in great need of your experience. We have three ferrets, (Weezie, Sneezie, and Cody). Weezie was our first (well second but thats a sad story) and we bought her when she was a little baby. Shes very healthy and not very sociable unless you have a soda. Sneezie we adopted. Shes about four years old, has Cushings desease and has lost her hair on her butt and her tale hair is going. Shes also one of those privilaged few that have all her scent glands. Then there is Cody. We adopted Cody about a month ago. Shes very cute, about 8 months old and a moose (2.5 pounds). Very good natured and poops every- where. She gets along great with Weezie (the younger ferret) but Sneezie beats up on her All the time! In the cage about 2 am, whenever they are all out, Sneezie has the same routine, eat, poop, then go beat up on Cody. The way Cody plays with Weezie (queen of the house) its obvious she should have no problem at all with 'ol rickity Sneezie but shes scared to death of her. Shes starting to loose little patches of fur on the back of her neck. Sneezie's neck looks just fine. Cody doesn't look beat up, I have to look and blow on her fur to notice any marks. Do I have to worry about this? Weezie and Sneezie did some fighting when we first got Sneezie but I don't recall if it took this long (month) for them to settle down. A vet said not to worry and it will pass, the pet store owner said Sneezie will eventually kill Cody. They are both very lovable, just not to each other. Cody and Weezie play all the time. Weezie and Sneezie have no problem playing. Anyone have any advise/help for me? -- |-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-| [log in to unmask] The Long Island Network Project | |The Courts of Chaos Semi-Public Access Long Island New York: USA | |-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-| [Posted in FML issue 0347]
