I received an email from a tech with the Humane Society in Sedona, Az about four ferts that were dumped on them recently. I am beyond full again, the other few shelters there in this state have shut down. I really cannot take them but hate see them stuck in a kennel probably eating inappropriate food. If anyone can get them in would be a beautiful drive and good excuse to go see Sedona. Here is the email I got: from [log in to unmask] My name is Melanie and I am the veterinary technician at the Humane Society of Sedona. I was given your email address from Morning Starr Animal Sanctuary. We have 4 ferrets that were abandoned at our shelter. We really do not have the proper housing for these sweet little things and were wondering if we could transfer them into your care? We also do not get many people visiting the shelter looking for ferrets since we mainly work with dogs and cats. Thank you, Melanie Thanks to anyone who can help and to the FML for our ferret community. Carol -- Carol J. Owens Ferret Friends, Inc.
