I have several suggestions. First, you can look up Texas ferret rescues on petfinder.com. Between that and google you can probably find most of them. But there may be lots... Texas is a big place. Shelters usually keep records so if you know when it was taken from the shelter, together with the gender and color you stand a decent chance of finding out. The only other thing I can think of off-hand that might help is to look for tattoos. Ferrets from Marshall farms generally have 2 dots tattooed inside one ear.
