Nobivac is fine, but Neovac has NOT been tested for effectiveness at all yet, nor really for safety. It is important for people to remember that they are different vaccines. Be extra careful with Vitamin D use with ferrets or with dogs. Both can rather easily get hypervitaminosis D which leads to calcium deposits in organs like the kidneys and heart. Unlike people they do NOT have a high need level of D needed. That is not surprising because they are descended from burrow dwelling animals whose peak activity is crepuscular (low light times like dusk and dawn) so their bodies optimize what D they get making it too easy to cause damage if they get too much. On the other hand, their ancestors ate a lot of organs including Vitamin A rich livers so it is not a surprise that they can handle the levels of vitamin A used in the study and actually thrived on it. In this, too, they differ from people. ----------------------------- Date: Sun, 2 Feb 2014 16:09:53 -0800 From: Tracy Keelan <[log in to unmask]> Subject: Standard Pillow Cases, Body Pillow Cases & Pillow Shams from Ferrets with Soul(e) *MIME-Version: 1.0 *Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-1 Ferrets with Soul(e) are offering Buy it Now Standard Pillow Cases, Body Pillow Cases & Pillow Shams on the Ferret Fabulous Finds Auction House.
