As a funder for "The Magic Ferret," I've had access to watch this sweet short film about an orphan and his ferret seeking a forever home. It's a real charmer! It's hard to know who is cuter: Falcor the ferret, who plays Booger, or young Jacob Tremblay, who plays his owner Sam. For such a short film, an incredible amount of love and attention has clearly gone into it, from the set design and rich cinematography, to the perfect soundtrack for both opening and closing credits (themselves delightfully charming!), to the spot-on performances. If you don't want to take both Sam and Booger home with you, there's something seriously wrong with you! But don't just take my word for it!
