>I'm a long time follower of the list, and it's with the utmost sadness >that I make my first post to request the greeters at the Rainbow >Bridge look out for and welcome our sweet boy Stinky, the first ferret >we ever owned and the first to go to the Bridge. Dear April, Spring time was, as usual, beautiful here. We love to celebrate the "Opening Flower Day" when every bloom opens up and let's us know that Spring is officially here. We all, and there are a great many of us who love this day of celebration, came out and to watch everything bloom. It always starts on the walls which surround the flight - practice area, and goes out from there. As we stood there waiting, nothing happened I looked at Hobbes and he looked at Obi, and Obi just bunched his shoulders up as if to say he didn't know either. Then little Wookie came running up and pulled on my paw and led me to a small, teacup rose bush outside of the flight area, and showed me a single tiny white bloom. Then he ran to another teacup bush, and showed me another tiny white bloom, and then he pointed and showed me that there was a path of single white blooms leading away from the flight grounds. Curious, we followed the these single blooms from bush, to plant, to tree. All of them where white, even if that was not the usual colour for that particular flora or fauna, and yet there they were - single, white blooms leading us away to a place that we all know well ..... The Bridge. Once there we saw white blooms EVERYWHERE, and we knew that it meant that our Spring day would begin with someone very special starting things off. Moments later infectious dooking came over the Bridge, and quiet laughter too. I expected to see a fuzzit, but was both surprised and elated to see my Aunt Kelly carrying a huge basket filled with white roses, and the dooking was coming from the basket itself, and then Stinky popped his head out and everyone laughed. Kelly put the basket on the ground, and Stinky leaped from it into the middle of the roses and into hundreds of waiting arms. He was hugged, and cuddled, and given treats, kisses and greeted by one and all there. I know it's late in coming, but Stinky is here. He's made a whole business or 6 in friends, and everyone agrees, he's the happiest follow anyone could ever want to meet, and I wholeheartedly agree 1 billion percent!
