I have read and in most instances would concur. However, there is evidence in the wild that there are very small animals that use low frequencies to communicate. As this is a topic I have been looking at for several years, I am always interested in what others have to say about it. My experience with my personal deaf ferrets is also that they communicate in a different manner. As an audiologist I deal in frequencies on a daily basis and have recorded evoked potentials from a range of animals from snakes to humans. I welcome input and discussion on this topic and would love to hear of your observations. Sukie has posted previously about her piano playing savants. I love that video and highly recommend it if you have not seen it. -- Renee Downs "Eventually we will realize that if we destroy the ecosystem we destroy ourselves."
