With the first heat wave of the summer about to hit several parts
of the country, now is the last chance for some to get those air
conditioners installed and running and to make sure that your ferrets
will not be left in any area where the temperature rises above 80
degrees. They cannot tolerate high temperatures anywhere near as well
as humans, and have been known to die in temperatures of 85 degrees
or more.
