Please, I'd be interested in knowing more about the general appearance
of the ones with head midline problems like the cleft palates Bobbi
mentioned on the FML, the Ferret Mailing List. (This discussion which
began on the FHL, the Ferret Health List, is happening on at least two
lists simultaneously.) Were the eyes located differently, too?

In mammals very often when the head has strongly non-bilateral
coloration the aortic arch is compromised, leading to early death for
circulatory system reasons.
