A Ferret's Life

Some say that I'm a poet,
some say that I am not.
I like to write of ferrets,
and all the things they've got.

There sits a box that's over there,
with toys all over flowing.
They take from here, and put them there,
oh they know where they're going!

And in that doorway over there, there is
a box of balls galore,
There are so many balls in there,
I can't get to the door.

But then there's treats, so many treats,
the're these and those, and this.
There is one treat thay all must have,
and that's a loving kiss.

But there are things that they want most,
one's not to be alone.
They want much love, a fur-parent,
and a forever home.
