There are also pretty much ALWAYS some poultry and red meat recalls
going on but I don't have time to look for those today.

I was able to easily find these current animal food ones (some cat ones
and some dogs ones posing the risk of transferrable illness to ferrets
or to people ). DO read the full reports. The production facility used
by several manufacturers was contaminated but some had their own tests
come up negative but are recalling to be safe in case other bags
contain bacteria.
