Today we broke the vessel, the waters poured in at the bridge.....Our little Schmoozy Ollie took that last car ride. I wasn't sure if he'd live through the ride, I found him comatose this morning. At the vet... tests... bad news... Low blood sugar (33) despite his pred. a tumor almost 2 inches in his belly that wasn't there 2 short months ago at his check up. yucky poohs, ....it was bad. He had eaten his soup, stole some of the other kids too, last night, then hid behind the doggy bed to snooze last night. Odd for him, but there was nothing else to tell me something was wrong..... Ollie was a Slightly Used kid, coming to live with the gang when his crack addicted Mommy realized not only did she need to get help, but her kids did too, as she had not been caring well for them. Lollie, his best friend came too. They had to re-learn manners, how to use the potty box, and to trust again.Ollie, ever so mellow had to gain strength in his hind legs, due to mal nutrition, and extended cage time. He was ever the trooper, He loved his soup, Mommy got him a des. implant because he was adrenal, and about 6 months later, he started with insulinoma. Despite all that, he was such a sweet little guy.I never could get a kiss from him, but whisker kisses abounded. He never did figure out toys, but a box was the greatest present for him, and a clean blanket was pure heaven. A serious schmooze after soup was always a requirement. He loved his face rubbed, ears scratched and serious lovin at those times. I miss him, my schmoozle woozle, and there's another little tear in mommys heart, where Ollie took a piece with him to the bridge. Cindy and the Slightly Used Gang [Posted in FML 7377]
