Dear Gary, Even here it's cooling off and summer is finally walking away. I can hear my wind chimes swaying about on the front porch. I picture these little kits, with their itty-bitty wings flying about and playing with the various tubes, bells and other moving parts and that's what's making the noise - really, *that's* what's making the noise. They are sooooooooo precious! They know I've been busy, and have not had time to come out and play, but they are also reminding me that there is plenty of time for me to play some other day, because I have more important things I need to see to first. But it's nice to see them out playing and enjoying themselves. One of them I know very well, he's this tiny, little, dark, sable boy named Wookie, and he is the cutest little thing ever, and I guess you could say in my own way, I'm *his* guardian angel. We are each are our own angel, whether it be one of comfort, joy, hope, love, compassion peace, charity, faith, a guardian and even a greeter can be one I hear. We each have our own jobs, and we try to do the very best we can. Which is why I seem to be forever apologizing on the lateness of me at my job. Each and every scroll I receive I cherish as if it were a priceless gift, and I hold them near and dear to me. I always carry them, each and everyone of them in a very special place in my heart. Finley is in my heart, as is Fisher, Phoebe, Rasta and Josie. They come here one by one, loved, cherished, spoiled, happy, full of joy from the lives they had with their earthly loved ones. The only thing that happens here is that they are made whole and healthy again. The rest is already there, deep inside them, and it came from being so wholly, so unconditionally, so wonderfully loved. I miss that feeling, but then we all do, and we are also reminded each and everyday that it's not forever. One day, or maybe one night, or at that magical time of betwixt and between, we will find you again. Not just find you as we do in the Viewing Pool, but find as we do when we are seeking out a treat, or a cuddle or a nip at your big toe. Sweet Riley came my way, with a flower tucked behind her right ear, dancing for all the joy she is worth, and that's quite a bit coming from this beautiful little girl. Somehow she decided that waiting on me was not going to happen. She made her way up here, BUT not on her own. Remember we are each an angel in our own way? Fuzzit Angels have quite a few things in common. We are cute, adorable, and have WINGS!!! Fisher put on her best fuzzit game face, and went and got Phoebe, Rasta and Josie, and together these lovely fuzzit's went and stayed with Riley until she was ready to go. Around you they flew, each pouring out as much love as they could, their only desire to help make Riley's passing as gentle as it could be. I know there is nothing easy or gentle about loosing a fur kid, but we each do what we can to help ease the burden, and your fur kids did just that. They waited until you both said your last goodbye's, and together, all five of them came here. They went on that journey together, walking through their memories of you, talking of the very best things they enjoyed and will miss ... but not forever. Forever can seem like a long time, but as long as you carry them in your heart, as they carry you, forever is also part of be loved. "He folded his fear into a perfect rose.
