Dear Ferret Folks- Well, for heavens sake I could have told that coyote that he was in over his whiskers with an otter. Wild otters are consummate professionals. They are on the job seven days a week, twenty four hours a day. They do not take vacations. They have rules, and you don't violate their rules. True, they can and do engage in play under the right conditions, but none of those conditions include *playing* with coyotes. The coyote should be grateful that he was allowed to leave the vicinity with all of his body parts intact. Honestly! Never. Ever. Tick off an otter. <http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2047773/Get-otter-Hapless-coyote-taught-surprising-lesson-survival.html> Alexandra in MA (Just shaking head.) [Posted in FML 7210]
