Hello Everyone,

Has anyone had experience with an older ferret who is developing or had
an over-eating problem? It is the case where they are getting older,
(and maybe a little lazy) and they are hanging around the food bowl
alot. They are eating alot, and gaining weight, getting bigger and
bigger. The ferret is eating so much and not moving much, so that their
belly is getting bigger, and their legs seems to be getting shorter.
The ferret is developing a big stomach, so much that have trouble
walking, moving and climbing stairs. They can hardly move, but they
keep eating and laying around the food bowl.

What do you do in this case? How would you approach it? Their are other
ferrets in the cage, that eat from the same bowl. So I hesitate to take
it away. Open to suggestions.

Thanks,
Nicholas and The Tribe.
