In A Moment

In a moment, all we cherished can be memories.
In an instant, all we loved can go away.
In a second life can change,
and our dreams be rearranged.
In a heartbeat we can have just yesterdays.

Make sure your ferrets know how much you love them.
Let them know that love in each and every day.
Life's gift isn't cast in stone,
you may find yourself alone.
And "I love yous" then are not in time to say.
